The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring logistics targets are achieved for site outbound logistics in line with agreed forecasts and BASF policies.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Co-ordination of outgoing logistics, organising and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, transportation companies and customers to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely fashion and customer orders are received on time.
  • End to end order management for customers, ensure received orders are accurate and are processed in SAP in a timely manner. Including order entry, shipments of the foods, invoicing and invoicing control. Credit / debit note creation.Booking and follow up of outbound transportation.
  • Investigate and resolve logistical problems, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all relevant SAP transactions, administrative and Quality Management System actions and documents are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Including all documentation needed for cusotms clearance, transportation and internal usage.
  • Close Liaison with UK Exports team for tax savings and customs procedures for all exports. Submission of all UK Government documentation required for international shipments (raw material and finished product).
  • Investigate and resolve logistical non-conformancies with the Quality Assurance departments.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Preferably a University degree or equivalent qualifications or experience, ideally in logistics or supply chain.
  • Good understanding of logistics processes with previous experience from Supply Chain and/or Logistics
  • Previous cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing experiences is desirable
  • Experience of stock control systems and warehouse operations is desirable
  • Good IT skills, SAP knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Service minded with good collaboration and communication skills, able to make effective decisions in high pressure situations, and a willingness to learn and continue to develop.
