Your Tasks

  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of an international Finance & Accounting Fixed Assets team in Global Finance Services (GFS)
  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and transfers in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities related to fixed assets, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and steer operational performance (quality & efficiency KPIs: AHS, ATS, SLA, Genpact) within the Fixed Assets scope.
  • Drive harmonization, standardization, and optimization of fixed asset processes across regions.
  • Support and contribute to global and regional project roll-outs impacting Fixed Assets (coordination, facilitation, post-implementation optimization).
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and internal controls related to fixed assets.
  • Act as a business partner for local finance organizations on all fixed asset-related topics.
  • Recruit, manage, coach and develop the Fixed Assets team to foster high performance and engagement.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in Accounting, with a strong focus on Record-to-Report (RTR) and Fixed Assets processes.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams in an international environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of fixed asset accounting under IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and familiarity with asset subledger functionality.
  • Understanding of related process interfaces (e.g., MM for asset procurement, SD for disposals, BI for reporting).
  • Excellent process orientation and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international and intercultural environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
