Your Tasks

Customer Collaboration

  • Establish strategy to strengthening collaboration and leveraging optimization opportunities with selected customers
  • Generate and maintain Customer Development Matrix as an overview and tool for prioritization of these opportunities
  • Proactively engage with customers and establishing and maintaining relationships (especially also via consistent face to face meetings) on driving existing opportunities forward and creating further opportunities
  • Negotiate Supply Chain Trading Terms & Conditions with customers
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all supply chain needs of Beiersdorf are taken into account and aligned
  • Ensure implementation of strategy, i.e. agreed activities with customers
  • Support implementation of customer related projects where necessary across the whole of supply chain including logistics topics
  • Maintain weekly customer dashboard to ensure transparency and alignment of customers’ and Beiersdorf’ s view around performance incl. commentary around exceptions and resolution
  • Be the face of supply chain with customer

Service Level

  • Deliver Customer Service KPIs and PIs to support Service Level and Business specific KPI’s pertaining to selected customers
  • Lead monthly internal Service Level Operational Meetings with Key customers to drive Customer Infill and Service Level improvement.
  • Lead and contribute to Customer Infill improvement by providing clear insight on key Service Level contributors to enable action planning
  • Directly lead topics of pricing claims, and returns claims (reverse logistics) for selected customers – to reduce service level error and maximize SL opportunities which drives sales growth

Direct Cost of Selling

  • Custodian of the Cost to Serve with the customer
  • Utilize the Cost to Serve Tool to identify strategic DCS opportunities in terms of cost and efficiency
  • Initiate and support projects with Logistics/LSP/Customer Service/directly with Customer to drive efficiencies through customer engagement
  • Forefront of influencing customer to drive a cost effective and efficient Cost to Serve
  • Support CRT in terms of Customer NOD, NDD and Lead time alignment with Logistics , and leading discussion and Internal/External Sales and directly with customer

Stakeholder Management

  • Responsible for coordinating, driving decision making and informing key stakeholders of Customer Supply Chain related topics
  • Drive supply chain collaboration with customers to
    • Improve service level
    • Generate operational & process efficiencies
  • Represent supply chain as the ‘face’ to external customer and be the link internally with supply chain function
  • Be the conduit between Supply chain and Sales to drive Service Level and Supply Chain support
  • Integrate with Sales to build support JBP planning with customers
  • Integrate with Logistics to drive direct cost of selling optimization and key performance indicator for both logistics and customer service
  • Escalation point for supply chain- customer related topics
  • Act as mediators and address conflict/ challenging customer interaction

Your Profile

Skills

  • High degree of motivation, initiative, problem solving and proactive thinking
  • Excellent Communication skills ,dealing with a wide range of stakeholders within business and externally with customers
  • Ability to impact and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail, data integrity and ability to analyze and create customer insight
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a high pressure customer/business environment
  • Computer literate in SAP Order Management , SAP Business Warehouse , Microsoft Office

Experience

  • Min. 5 years’ work experience – ideally in Customer Service and/or Customer Facing/Collaborator Role.
  • Experience in other Supply Chain areas(i.e. Logistics , Planning) , FMCG, as well as working directly with external customers is beneficial
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and customer related processes and principles
