Role Purpose

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance team and support several key business projects. This internship offers hands-on exposure to ERP controls, regulatory compliance and statutory processes across Singapore and Malaysia.

You will work closely with the Finance team under managerial guidance and gain practical experience in areas highly relevant to careers in accounting, audit and governance.

Key Accountabilities

Projects

• Participate in project-related activities including master data configuration, order-to-cash (O2C) processes and customer credit management.
• Support accounting entries and reconciliation of system transactions.
• Assist in validating data accuracy and documenting process flow.
• Gain exposure in system ERP controls.
  
  

Customs Tax

• Assist in extraction and consolidation of historical customs data against accounting records.
• Prepare structured supporting schedules for submission to relevant tax authority.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to validate the customs tax calculation.
  
  

Stamp Duty

• Liaise with tax consultants to identify agreements subject to stamp duty requirements.
• Implement and document the stamp duty process flow incorporating defined compliance checkpoints and approval workflow.
  
  

Other Controls Support

• Provide coordination support for compliance and control-related assignments.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trail maintenance.
  
  

Your Profile

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under guidance.
• Responsible, organized and able to handle confidential information.
