The main purpose of the role of the Market Planner is order management, securing customer service, distribution, inventory planning and waste management.

Ordering, Customer Service and Distribution planning

Creating POs, inbound deliveries and related documents for intercompany ordering and replenishment through ERP system (SAP)
Ensure product stock availability in warehouse branches are optimum for all distribution channels and can cover direct and indirect demand from customers.
Monitor and put plans to ensure Finished Goods supplies are available as per forecast by branch.
Interact with sales, marketing, and warehouse branches to understand demand forecast by branch to cover product sales and plan stock replenishment.
Collaborate with 3PM, central HUBs & Customer Service in Dubai for planning of inbound shipments for finished products.
Working with DXB customer service and Demand and supply planners to optimize service level.
Customer Service invoicing for top customers and managing Service Level, stocks availability and allocation.
Monitoring Service Level for top customer and collaborating with top customers to improve service and optimize supply chain KPIs.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory at distributor effectively to secure product sales and devise improvement actions to maximize utilization
Controlling ordering for items based on Gold, Silver and bronze SKU classification
Monitor, evaluate and build depletion plans for excess stocks, blocked stocks and short shelf-life stocks.
Align with stakeholders plans to deplete short shelf life and excess stocks.

Procurement & Master Data Management

Create Master Data in distributor system/SAP system along with leading assortment management for BDF
Generation and processing of POs and confirmation in distributor system
Provide visibility to stakeholders on active SKU list and innovations.
Liaise with MU Supply Chain team for new products and ensure on time ordering from distributor system and listing
Process request samples from distributor system as per business requirement

Reporting

Provide monthly Service Level, Direct Cost of Sales reports with clear root causing and action plan.
Report on inventory (DIH) and forecast accuracy monthly
Monthly reporting on Waste risks and depletion action plans

Others

Any additional analysis, tasks and duties, which would be required to fulfill the scope of the role as requested by the line manager

Your Profile

Bachelor from an accredited university with a focus on Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a planning (Demand/Supply) customer service, in FMCG company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic & English are mandatory.
High proficiency in MS Office applications with emphasis on advanced excel. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
Attention to detail and rigorous accuracy
Team worker and able to work autonomously
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
