Your Tasks

The General Trade Cairo & Alex Regional Sales Manager will implement the GT strategy for NIVEA brand across Cairo & Alex regions, as well as will identify and pilot new growth opportunities. S(he) will be responsible to drive business growth at speed & scale.

  • Setting tactical development plans in GT to ensure the strategic plan is in place and all sales fundamentals and KPIs are perfectly executed/delivered by retail environment.
  • Building Bottom-Up annual business plan for GT by different retail environments and leading the distributor team towards achieving their monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets/KPIs.
  • Planning/Monitoring the sales budget by different trade allowance buckets/retail environment and ensure the distributor teams are compliant to BDF financial standards in spending, execution & reporting through reviewing/approving all claims from the distributors versus the approved sales memos/activities to ensure there are no deviations.
  • Creating monthly sales memos and aligning with finance and S&CM teams based on the annual business plan/forecast cycles and share it with the distributor team.
  • Approving/Tracking all loyalty schemes/programs in the market with Key Wholesalers.
  • Identifying/Capturing “vertical – horizontal” growth opportunities in direct retail environments by expanding direct coverage and increasing drop size/penetration.
  • Building/Maintaining a strong relationship with TOP10 Customers (Wholesalers – Key Retailers) by regularly visiting them, assessing performance versus target, solving problems, and checking market trends/competition activities.
  • Holding weekly meetings with the distributor team to oversee MTD performance versus targets/KPIs and agree on MTG actions/results.
  • Developing/Coaching the distributor team to uplift their capabilities for better performance and effective communications by conducting On-The-Job filed trainings and providing constant feedbacks.
  • Driving efficient stock management to ensure target achievement and maintain healthy & low NPI stocks.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG sector
  • Proven experience in the cosmetics industry is mandatory
  • Strong foundation in sales fundamentals with a solid commercial mindset
  • Advanced data analytics capabilities with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
