Finance Controlling Assistant Manager

I. JOB PURPOSES:
Support Controlling Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis activities to support Sales strategic priorities and customer plan. Incentivize business growth through analysis, insights and recommendations providing to the business.
II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1/ Sales Controlling
- Participate in customer planning by channel; monitor profitability and trade stock for any deviations to ensure delivery of results.
- Assist Manager in monitoring key financial KPIs of NIVEA Commercial team and provide analysis and insights to support the business in managing the full Statement of Income (SOI).
- Support the preparation of monthly sales reports, ad-hoc analyses, and financial data to support business cases that drive growth and margin.
- Coordinate with S&CM to conduct pre- and post- evaluation for relevant promotion activities.
- Assist Manager to provide inputs on pricing strategy for product launches and relaunches.
- Monitor Trade Term Condition (TTC) forecasting, ensure quality of tracking and invoice verification in SAP.
- Ensure TTC accruals are aligned with market spending on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Closely follow-up with KAM for TTC expense settlement, drive for in-time payment and accrual clearance.
Support Manager to ensure internal control policies and compliance related to sales are up to date and followed at all levels.
2/ Marketing budget
- Assist Manager to create transparency in the planning process for the marketing budget, including Customer Marketing Spends.
- In charge of the finance role in BASE tools for budget steering of spends.
- Ensure accuracy and timely accruals for marketing budget areas.
- Support the commercial team in conducting pre- and post-evaluation of relevant promotional activities.
3/ Forecasting and budgeting
- Assist Manager in overall planning and forecasting from GS to GM%.
- Support the business in budget preparation and ensure inputs are submitted OTIF.
- Assist Manager in Sales & Margin drivers, reviewing and commenting on variances.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Commercial teams through S&OP process to refine building blocks, validate sales, and close performance gaps to achieve targets.
4/ Project
- Support new initiatives related to process improvement, simplification, digitalization and automation within finance or cross-functional areas.
III. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related or above
- Work Experience:
- Total 3-5 years’ experience in Sales or Business Controlling, Management accounting
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Knowledge in Power BI is a plus
- Experience in using SAP
- Analyzing skills
- Result oriented
- Familiar with data processing
- Certain level of influencing skill
- Good communication skills in English
- Have Business Acumen, understand the dynamics and pace of FMCG businesses is a plus
