The Regional Logistics Manager develop framework for execution excellence in warehousing operation through value stream mapping and other waste reduction programs.

Role and Responsibilities:
-Creating systems to ensure the desired customer service levels by reviewing and Improve “execution excellence”
-Lead benchmarking initiative: costs and best practices.
-Analyze the operational performance of warehouse at all India basis and identify the weak performing locations for improvement.
-Develop SOPs for warehousing operation in ensuring inventory accuracy across the country on a daily basis and identify the critical issues
-Responsible for ensuring the FIFO adherence levels regularly and create an action plan to address the same.
-Develop framework for Warehouse Service Providers selection and its cost drivers for negotiation.
-Responsible for designing the Warehouse Layouts, put away and picking strategies along with the LSP and implementation of the best-in-class technological solutions i.e WMS, RF, Racking solutions etc.
-Conduct benchmarking exercise for warehousing KPIs and partner with regional logistics team to drive efficiencies.
-Drive productivity through improvements in TATs of sales order and stock transfers
-Design and implement network for primary transportation and review (regular basis) in conjunction to total delivered cost
-Provide tools and expertise to the field teams on Transportation Optimization through Route planning and /Frequency Optimization
-Perform extensive spend analysis to develop Logistics sourcing strategy (Optimum no. of Trucks, Warehouse Storage Space and route planning)
-Conduct & support operations team in cost and performance analysis for monthly reporting.
-Identifying the Training needs of the Logistics Team and make roadmap for implementation.

Your Profile

-Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years in Warehousing and transportation role and rich experience in distribution function of Retail , FMCG or Pharma company

-Post Graduate/PG in Supply Chain Management /Logistics/Operations from Premier institutes
