The Shopper & Customer Marketing Channel Manager – Walmart (Hypermarket & Supermarket Retail Environment Focus) & Price Clubs (Sams and Costco) is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution excellence of the channel by translating brand and category strategies into winning shopper and customer solutions across the retail environments. The position acts as a key integrator between S&CM Category Lead, Commercial (Channel Sales Head & KAM, Field Sales Head) and Customer team, ensuring that strategies are aligned.

Role description:
The Shopper & Customer Marketing Channel Manager – Walmart (Hypermarket & Supermarket Retail Environment Focus) & Price Clubs (Sams and Costco) is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution excellence of the channel by translating brand and category strategies into winning shopper and customer solutions across the retail environments. The position acts as a key integrator between S&CM Category Lead, Commercial (Channel Sales Head & KAM, Field Sales Head) and Customer team, ensuring that strategies are aligned.
Main competences & proficiency:
Define the Perfect Store by RE:
- Understand shopper missions and behaviours
- Conduct RE mapping on an annual basis
- Build the mapping learning into the development of the RE 4P plans
- Define Perfect Store 4P plans by RE
- Design and execute Launch Activation plans by RE according to brand guidelines and targets.
- Define POSM according to RE needs.
- Adapt Selling Story presentations according to customer needs.
- Ensure PICOS execution
- Continuous track and identified opps & risks
- Develop customer-centric category narratives that position the brand as a category growth partner.
- Building category insights and opportunity assessments.
- Translating shopper and customer dynamics into commercial growth stories.
- Supporting the KAM team with persuasive customer presentations.
- Demonstrating how the brand portfolio drives category growth.
- Develop a single source of insight generation for each RE, including collecting insights and converting into actionable
Tracking Execution and developing gap closing opportunities:
Ensure best-in-class execution across the channel by:
- Monitoring Leading & Lagging KPIs to track Perfect Store compliance
- Monitoring launch execution, activation effectiveness.
- Identifying performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Developing and implementing corrective action plans in collaboration with sales teams.
- Establishes/builds relationships with customers and their key stakeholders across the organization partners, including WM Connect.
- Support Sales with category information/insights as needed by RE. Participate with Sales in T2T/ JBP meetings to present
- Adapt and execute the brand strategy according to ABP/Fast Start set by Category Lead and ensure needs of the channel are properly funded.
- Responsible for local commercial inputs (S&CM part) and interface into S&OP process (VAS Price Clubs).
- Co-create with Sales Head the G2M Game Plan by RE quarterly according to Brand Strategy & Customer needs.
Your Profile
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience, Sales or Shopper Marketing / Trade Marketing (Walmart Experiance is needed)
- Financial Analysis skills required
- Proven experience of matching brand strategies and channel strategies, and translating it into execution
- Customer-centric thinking.
- Proven experience using Scintilla, Madrid & Nielsen.
- Able to identify customers’ needs and build business strategies based on them.
- Stakeholder management in a matrix organization
- Ability to manage ambiguity and conflict within a network of stakeholders and internal/external customers
- Pragmatic, Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a "hands on" style
- Able to adapt, navigate and have a protagonist role in a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; team player
- Personable, Energetic, Responsive, Confident and Honest

- Fluent English
