Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Demand Planning process as a whole, in order to improve sales forecasting with the aim of monitoring business plans and achieving the best service level, while reducing Supply Chain costs.

Your Tasks

• Manage the local Sales & Operations (S&OP) process for your portfolio, in order to generate a reliable and quality forecast, taking into account the perspectives of the different departments;
• Update and monitor the "standard" forecasts generated by statistical models, integrating the technical and commercial parameters collected from the Marketing, Sales & Shopper teams;
• Update short term forecast in the system (weekly update);
• Coordinate actions with cross-functional teams to improve promotion and launch planning, ensuring that forecasts accurately reflect market trends and costumer order behaviour,
• Analyse performance indicators (KPIs), in particular Service Level, Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias, in order to identify areas of improvement, the origin of deviations and opportunities for optimization,
• Manage the implementation of the action plan with the Sales, Marketing & Customer Service teams to limit deviations,
• Cooperate with the Supply Planning team to secure stock allocation, optimize the level of safety stock, and execute agile processes to allow better responsiveness to unforeseen market events,
• Create and clean up Master Data in the system;
• Identify areas for improvement in terms of processes and working methods, as part of a continuous improvement approach, with the aim of gaining in precision and efficiency.

Your Profile

• Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position, FMCG is a plus.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering School
• SAP/ R3 / APO knowledge is must
• Fluent English, Proficiency in MS Office applications, advanced MS Excel is a must
• A degree in administrative sciences, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nivea Beiersdorf Turkey office in İstanbul Ayazağa region is the primary location for this position. Therefore, we recommend residence in Istanbul. Working model will be hybrid for this role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The exact arrangement of this agreement in the relevant team will be explained in a personal conversation.
