Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements in Mexico and Central America, related to the labeling of cosmetic products.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, compilation, and strategically planned submission of regulatory packages and applications to the appropriate authorities, aligning with overarching business goals and regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Ensure products comply with local and international regulatory standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sanitary regulations and standards in Mexico and Central America, and ensure the company’s products meet these requirements.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of regulatory professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.
  • Provide training and support to staff on regulatory matters.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of regulatory submissions, approvals, and RAO management activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on regulatory performance for management team.
  • Ensure all product documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible.

External Relations

  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and external partners.
  • Represent the company in regulatory discussions.

Technical expertise

  • Provide technical regulatory advice to internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and quality assurance teams.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documentation and filings to relevant authorities.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs.
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities and industry bodies
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic Knowledge of supply chain management
  • In-depth knowledge of advertising approval processes and regulatory requirements for cosmetic or pharmaceutical products in Mexico and Central America.
  • Strong risk management skills with the ability to balance regulatory compliance and business needs.
  • Proficiency in regulatory documentation and submission processes.

MU Regulatory Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards within the MU Region. This role involves managing regulatory submissions and maintaining ongoing compliance with local and international regulations. The manager will work closely with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners to ensure that products meet all necessary standards and regulations.
