Your Tasks

Account Specific Responsibilities

  • Analysis of sales activity on a monthly basis using scan & warehouse withdrawal data and provide insights to the business managers
  • Track & monitor competitor catalogue activity and performance on a monthly basis
  • Assist in preparation of category reviews / NPD proposals and relevant documentation
  • Promotional programming (assisting with development of promotional program, case deal submissions, planners etc.)
  • Assist with monitoring promotional effectiveness and compliance for all sales activity e.g. NPD distribution tracking, Store promotional tie-up
  • Build planograms across major account customers via Symphony planogram software

Promotion administration

  • Maintenance of NIVEA & Elastoplast Pharmacy Wholesalers distribution list
  • Creation & maintenance of promotional submissions
  • Validation & processing of promotional claims
  • Assist with tracking promotional spend & accruals
  • Co-ordinate POS requirements for instore activations
  • Co-ordinate catalogue artwork requests via customer marketing
  • Assistance in stores during major launch/promotional activity

Field Team Communication

  • Create field priorities in Woolloo
  • Compliance & distribution analysis
  • Preparation of ad hoc presentations for field team, such as
    - NPD presentations
    - O&A activity
    - Brochure presentations
  • Preparation of Monthly Field Meeting detailer
  • General liaising with field team/assistance with enquiries etc.

Account Management

  • Directly manage some aspects of the Customer portfolio including Gift Packs and seasonal activities
  • Baseline, promotional and NPD forecasting. Communicate and align on forecasts with both internal and external demand planners
  • Financial mathematics
  • Ability to problem solve pricing errors both internally and with the customer

Your Profile

  • Completed or currently completing a Business related degree.
  • Ideally, exposure to the FMCG environment, gathered through a similar role or other exposure such as Field Territory Management/Representative
  • Exposure to and understanding of the Pharmacy channel in Australia would be ideal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of PowerBI (desirable)
  • Knowledge of financial mathematics fundamentals and accruals
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
