The incumbent leads regional e commerce analytics to drive growth and performance across ASEAN markets. This role transforms data into actionable insights, owns reporting and performance tracking, and supports commercial decision making through forecasting, trend analysis, and ROI evaluation. The position partners closely with country teams and cross functional stakeholders, ensures data accuracy and governance, and builds a strong insights led and performance driven e commerce culture.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead E Commerce data & analytics strategy across ASEAN markets to drive commercial growth and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting covering traffic, conversion, sales, pricing, promotions, assortment, availability, and media performance.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to support decision making by E Commerce, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams.
- Partner with country teams and regional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and key levers across platforms and marketplaces.
- Lead forecasting, trend analysis, and performance reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with a strong focus on ROI and KPIs.
- Drive test and learn initiatives (A/B testing, promo effectiveness, content optimization) and evaluate impact post execution.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across tools, platforms, and markets; act as the regional data SME for e commerce.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Digital, Media, and Platform Partners (e.g. marketplaces, analytics vendors) to enhance data capabilities and automation.
- Support business cases and strategic initiatives with data backed insights and recommendations.
- Build data literacy within the organization by upskilling teams and promoting a strong performance driven and insights led culture.
- Monitor marketplace, platform, and consumer trends in ASEAN to anticipate changes and proactively guide strategy.
- Drive automation of recurring reporting, data ingestion, validation, and performance tracking to reduce manual workload and improve reliability.
- Document processes, data definitions, KPI logic, and tool ownership to ensure long-term scalability and governance.
- Manage external analytics and data vendors, including contract scope, delivery quality, issue escalation, roadmap alignment, and renewal recommendations.
