Your Tasks Develop and execute annual customer and channel plans to achieve sales and commercial objectives. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective account management and business planning. Drive distribution, ranging, shelf management, and new product development opportunities across assigned customers. Develop and execute promotional programs, customer initiatives, and trade investment plans to maximize sales and profitability. Manage Trading Terms & Conditions (TTC), customer investment, promotional claims, and account profitability. Monitor sales performance, forecasts, promotional effectiveness, and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize business outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer plans, demand forecasting, and in-store execution. Lead, coach, and support the Foodstuffs team while maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, administration, and compliance with company policies and processes.
Your Profile Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline (preferred). Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG, with strong experience in the New Zealand grocery environment. Proven experience managing major grocery accounts, ideally at Head Office level. Strong commercial acumen with experience in customer negotiations and account management. Experience using FMCG market data and insights (e.g. Circana and/or IQVIA) to support commercial decisions. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
