Your Tasks

As an Accounting Lead – RTR at Beiersdorf Service India, you will spearhead the full lifecycle of Record to Report (R2R) processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role entails working closely with diverse teams across multiple regions to consolidate financial data, manage month-end and year-end closings, and uphold high standards of accounting integrity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial accounting activities, including accurate and timely monthly closings.
  • Perform cost center accounting and prepare Statements of Income (SOI) in line with IFRS and group guidelines.
  • Handle month-end processes such as accruals, cost allocations, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee employee travel expense processing and payroll-related activities.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ensure seamless integration and consistency across SAP modules (FI, CO, SD).
  • Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of accounts and financial statements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial auditors and banking partners.
  • Maintain and manage G/L accounts, cost center master data, and account assignment structures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, external audits, and tax regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including financial statements (IFRS/LGAAP), cash flow reports, and performance analysis to stakeholders.
  • Manage timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions, ensuring proper financial disclosures.
  • Oversee intercompany transfer pricing, ensuring compliance and robust documentation across global entities.
  • Manage end-to-end corporate tax assessments, audits, appeals, and scrutiny cases.

Your Profile

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or Company Secretary (CWA) with a strong financial acumen.
  • 5 years experience managing General Ledger and Record to Report processes within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IFRS and local GAAP compliance, with the ability to navigate complex financial reporting requirements.
  • Priveious experience handling indirect and direct taxation
  • Proven experience working within SAP ERP systems, specifically the FI and CO modules, with hands-on knowledge of finance process integration and system enhancements.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, with an eye for detail and a structured approach to problem-solving and process management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, enabling clear and concise communication in a multinational environment.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to drive change, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
