Currently, the three product areas - Video Systems, Access Control & Intrusion and Communication Systems, as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as a new independent company and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

As Product Owner, you will be part of the new company to be set up this year and thus contribute to a globally networked team of +4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.

Job Description

• Take Responsibility: You maintain close contact with strategic product managers and end-customers, and see it as your passion to understand requirements and translate them into technical solution concepts. You lead a multicultural, agile development team both professionally and disciplinarily, and together you drive innovative technological competencies forward. As a Product Owner, you take on the content and commercial responsibility for the (further) development of the remote portal as a central point of contact for the portfolio of digital services. In doing so, you determine the focus, order, and manner of implementation together with the team and relevant stakeholders, ensuring a needs- and benefits-optimized implementation.

• Live Cooperation: You work closely with other agile development teams, internal and external designers, product managers, and end-users to transform functional needs into complex, technical solutions. You independently ensure the scalability, quality, and maintainability of created solutions through intelligent design structures. Together with your team, it is your passion to deliver the highest customer benefit through superior functionality and pioneering end-user orientation.

• Shape the Future: You are inspired by the needs of our customers and implement these requirements together with your team into intelligent, excellent, and high-tech software solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

• University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar.
• Additional qualifications or relevant experiences as a Product Owner or SCRUM Master, in UX or cloud product design, interface design, or a comparable development area are a plus.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development with relevant work experience with complex, cloud-based software products and services, preferably in the security field.
• Experience in leading a team in dealing with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SCRUM, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, and modern cloud technologies and tools.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud application development and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS for cloud-based business models
• Good understanding of networked device management and usage of the latest standard technologies
• You are familiar with working with "full stack" developers in a SCRUM environment using the latest technologies, methods, and tools and have already implemented technology trends in a highly professional and customer-focused development environment.
• You have a clear vision of technological development and can derive possibilities and risks for concrete use in the customer context.
• Creative and willing to work in an international, agile team.
• You have a drive to apply newest technology, methods, tools and trends in a highly professional and customer value centric development environment.
• English proficiency.
