Job Description
- Design and implement Kubernetes clusters in on-premise environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or similar.
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, applications, and services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement security best practices for Kubernetes environments, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and secrets management.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps best practices, including version control, testing, and release management.
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for Kubernetes clusters and applications.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding
- Some travel activities (e.g. for kick-offs, project meetings) needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Kubernetes on-premise implementations.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, container orchestration with Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and cloud-native architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in English Language, both oral and written.
