Job Description
- Analyze competitors and market trends (e.g. new legislation, new applications, new customers, new technologies, new requirements) through attending exhibitions and joining customer meetings.
- Identify, evaluate and drive new / potential business opportunities and product roadmap for Truck Company products together with GB partners.
- Ensure Truck Company product portfolio and business model to be in line with ME-CN business strategy.
- Develop and coordinate market entry strategies and recommendations for action for new products according to technical and commercial assessments.
- Responsible for determining product specification and market price evaluation.
- Identify potential customers or partners and drive business relationships towards successful commercialization in close collaboration with sales, engineering, and GB partners.
- Responsible for product innovation process and generation planning at ME-CN. Jointly drive benchmarking tasks together with benchmarking departments in different organization.
Qualifications
- Technical university degree in engineering or comparable background; min. 5 years’ working experience in automotive industry.
- Solid technical and product business knowledge on ECU products in China market.
- Advanced product / portfolio management skills and experience in cross function / GB collaborations.
- Advanced requirement management capability to align product and customer needs / pain points.
- Skilled at technical and commercial evaluation of product and technology trends through market and competitor monitoring.
- Structured and target oriented communication and coordination skills to enable decision making for product portfolio. Strong ability to interact well with customers on different levels.
- Ability to work with ambiguity in highly dynamic teams and market situation.
- Advanced English skill both in written and oral; German is an advantage.
