Job Description
Tasks
- Analyse requirements to check testability
- Creation of feature based test plans and scheduling in alignment with project test manager
- Continuous prioritization and assignment of testing tasks
- Enhance the test results, summarize reporting and tracking the test progress
- Provide test operation work products to project test manager
- Organization and moderation of suitable test team meeting structure
- Identification of test level risks and their publication and minimization
- Preparation and participation in milestones reviews
- Coordination of testing for upcoming releases
- Networking with relevant stakeholders (project management, software development, quality assurance)
- Housekeeping inside all toolchain systems
- Integration of new features and technologies into the test architecture
- Identification of required qualifications and skills for the development and implementation of SW test design
Rights
- Guideline competence for the adaptation of suitable test methods and test contents for the release of the SW product
- Request for error corrections on work product which are inputs for the test activities (e.g. requirements)
- Escalation in case of endangering the quality objectives of the SW project
- Place requirements for testability in coordination with project test management
- Request features in test environment
- Tracking and requesting the correction of detected errors and escalate before delivery of the (SW) work product
- Definition of approval criteria of the responsible test operation
Responsibilities
- Verification of compliance with standards of software products with the means of appropriate tests
- Adaptation and application of suitable processes and methods according to circumstances and general conditions of the project
- Matching and synchronization of the test plan with other stakeholders
- Proactive collection of requirements and their systematic analysis, clarification and documentation to derive a suitable test strategy
- On-time delivery of test cases and test environments to test features in embedded controls and the connected ecosystems
- Identifying and analysing risks in the device under test and cover them with test cases
- Identifying existing reusable test procedures and methods across the company
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Graduated in Computer science/ Electrical engineering/ Embedded electronics development/
- More than 5 years of experience in embedded software testing, ideally in automotive or industrial domains
- Good knowledge of test methodologies, test levels, and defect management processes
- Experience with embedded systems, hardware–software integration, and test environments
- Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes
- Experience in Project management, Team Leading
- Professional proficiency in English – spoken and written.
