Job Description

The Material Compliance Officer in Purchasing has to ensure, that purchased materials comply with the growing number of legal requirements. She/he is representing the Home Comfort Procurement organization in the respective projects on company level. With this, she/he is a key contributor to a successful and compliant business at Bosch Home Comfort division with following product portfolio: heating, boilers, heat pumps and AC.

Core tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for deployment of new legal requirements / projects to suppliers in Asia Pacific, America and EU (e.g. RoHS, PFAS, …)
• Monitoring of fulfilment of compliance targets by suppliers
• Creation and update of status reports
• Responsible for trainings of suppliers and the buyer’s organization
• Coordination of external Service provider
• Coordination of chemical testing of materials on hazardous substances

Qualifications

Candidates with education suit the position:

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Specialisation, field: Procurement

Language and language level
English - Advanced (C1)

Further foreign languages are an advantage.
