Job Description

• Based on detailed application-product expertise and technical excellence the Power semiconductor product manager (PRM) provides in-depth support for ME-PM product portfolio with focusing on power semiconductor products include discretes, S-cell, embedded-PCB and power modules:
  • Develop in depth technical understanding of our products and datasheet parameters
  • Contributes to build up a future proof product portfolio by capturing key application requirements and trends
  • Provide customer input into technology capability roadmap
• The PRM supports design-in activities and collects customers’ demands of above mentioned power semiconductor products (at defined customers, market segments, especially non-automotive applications, with sales colleagues and distribution partners, etc):
  • Market study and investigate opportunity in related automotive and non-automotive applications fit for above mentioned power semiconductor products
  • Visit customers and lead new products and applications pre-selling and design-in at customers side with business development spirit and technical support
  • Transfer ME-PM SiC products advantages to customers application benefit
• The PRM supports power semiconductor related cooperation and partnership topics in China:
  • Supports partners’ evaluation and analysis
  • Supports localization and partnership activities
• The PRM supports CN power semiconductors competence and trend screening and is involved in new application business field analysis
• Other PRM work, including high level meeting material preparation, definition to promotion contents for events / exhibitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering in an electronics or physics related subject.
• At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with strong application orientation in Automotive, Power Supply, SST, ESS, Solar and Off-highway
• Very good technical understanding to SiC power semiconductors, e.g. SiC bare die, discrete, module, S-cell and embedded-PCB
• A deep technical understanding from the customers’ applications down to the product features and product & packaging development process.
• Very good written & spoken English
• Convincing communication and presentation skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
• High self-motivation for business creation and business success.
• Able to work independently in close connection with our China team and the global colleagues.
