Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing and Projects Manager to join our operations team in Monterrey, Mexico. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects while optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage resources strategically, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support our organizational goals.

Plan, schedule, and execute manufacturing projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality specifications
Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
Lead and supervise manufacturing teams, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reporting to senior management
Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics, analyzing data to drive informed decision-making
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols
Manage stakeholder communications, providing project updates and addressing concerns proactively
Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations or production management
Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management
Proficiency with ERP systems and project management software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Bilingual capability in Spanish and English (required for Monterrey location)
