We are seeking a Manufacturing Digitalization Engineer to support our digital transformation initiatives and drive the development of smart manufacturing solutions. Job Description
- Develop manufacturing data platform use cases aligned with business requirements.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and data visualization dashboards for analytics.
- Implement IT solutions and deploy them to area owners within the manufacturing environment.
- Develop data collection solutions using industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, MQTT, OPC-UA, and AMQP.
- Support digitalization and improvement activities within operations.
- Collaborate closely with IT service teams, SAP teams, external solution providers, and end users.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Python, SQL, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Git, Grafana, Node-RED
- Good English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Digitalization or Automation.
- Experience in image processing, especially using OpenCV.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT Hub.
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar devices.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Grafana, Tableau, or Power BI.
