Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Process Methods and Tools Coach (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Agile coach for advanced automotive products development. Manage competency development and support engineering managers to deploy state-of-the-art engineering competency targets for engineering developers in the organization. Provide training, consultancy and constructive support to project teams with a focus on agile software engineering concept, process and tools. Engage cross-ground-regional engineering teams to establish highly effective team structure, aligned artefacts, repositories, and communication channels to enhance project development efficiency and share good practices and lessons learnt. Act as ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement Capability Determination) coach to enforce project development to fulfill ASPICE compliance target for premium and consistent engineering quality. Collect and consolidate requirements from project teams in North America. Represent project teams as interface to headquarters and Global experts for continual process and tool improvement within the framework of legal and industrial regulations (including IATF16949, ISO26262, ASPICE, etc). Navigate and drive efficiency improvement through engineering value stream. Identify potential room and goals for efficiency increase and derive actions to realize organizational targets. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field. Plus 5 years of experience as an Operation Manager, Project Manager or occupation involving automotive business, chassis system or advanced control system. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Agile development concept, process, methodology in the automotive industry; (2) Legal and industrial regulations of safety relevant components and systems in the automotive industry; (3) Automotive component development (engineering, quality and manufacturing); (4) Lean concept and theory in automotive industry including purchasing, supplier chain, production, logistic value stream, and quality assurance; and (5) Project management in leading strategic development, launch, or localization for automotive components.
