Company Description

Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.

HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to 56.000 m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP’s.

Job Description

• Owner for line Defect cost -TDC (Total Defect Cost)
• Owner for line performance (%OEE -Overall Equipment Effectives, Cycle Time, NU - Net Utilization, IDC - Internal Defect Cost)
• Owner for line material / information flow: PQI - Production Quality Instruction, VSM - Value stream mapping / VSD - Value Stream design, …
• Leading team to solve complex quality problem (SQCD - Safety, quality, Cost, Delivery): PSS - Problem solving, NC - Nonconformity, 8D, PFMEA - Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis,
• Improve the documentation as ODS - Operational Data Store, CP - control Plan
• Do changes, line improvements, release new line & product, initial sample run based on Bosch tool such as ECR - Engineering Change Request, CSS - concession
• Support & cooperate to BPS -Bosch Production system and production planning
• Apply problem solving tool (5Why, fishbone, KT- Kepner Tregoe, FTA- Fault Tree Analysis,) into NC, PSS, 8D, ... for problem solving.
• Team member of new line and product releases including DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode) content build up
• Other tasks assigned by manager.

Qualifications

1. Education

• Bachelor of Engineering (prefer Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Industrial Systems Engineering)

2. Work experience

• 2 years as an engineer in an industrial manufacturing plant

3. Traits and Skills

• LEAN manufacturing mindset
• Good project management/ presentation and communication skills
• Good problem analysis and problem-solving skill
• Ability to moderate workshop and lead teamwork activities
• Good at communication by English
