Job Description

Conceptualize, design and industrialize different types of battery holders and frame design studies for integrated and external batteries, taking into consideration project requirements and feedback from bicycle industry.
Validate and review the design using systematic engineering methods and mechanical simulation.
Work together with an international team to bring joy to the customer.

- Conceptualize and come up with creative out-of-the box ideas for innovative and new battery holder concepts and frame designs using engineering methodology and CAD
- Develop, industrialize and test battery holder concepts taking in account all product and testing requirements
- FEM Simulation of frame and holder designs taking into account certification testing and field-load data
- Organize prototype creation and testing with local suppliers and support purchasing for series supplier sourcing
- Perform and actively participate in engineering design reviews with eBike HQ and Taiwan R&D team providing feedback.
- Provide series support for components and products already in mass production talking to European and Asian suppliers and supporting purchasing on engineering related topics.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Master degree helpful. International experience helpful.
- 5+ years working experience in technical development
- Experience in Creo/Solidworks and frame design
- Very good knowledge on mechanical engineering.
- Experience with CAD design (3D CAD Creo experience a big plus) including the creation of technical documentation.
- Experience with frame design.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written (English) communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people in a variety of disciplines though all levels of an organization.
