Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and trade partners. This role focuses on field execution, site coordination, safety, scheduling and quality control - not internal employee management. The Construction Manager ensures construction activities are performed according to plans, specifications, schedules and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and trade partners on assigned projects to ensure alignment with project plans, schedules, and requirements
  • Monitor and facilitate daily on-site construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with project documents.
  • Coordinate construction sequencing, manpower, equipment and materials.
  • Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or field issues.
  • Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings with subcontractors and inspectors.
  • Review drawings, specifications and RFIs to ensure proper field execution.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Track construction progress and provide regular updates to project leadership.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing and punch list activities through project completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business or equivalent level of experience
  • 7-10 years of experience supporting construction, engineering, or industrial project execution in roles such as Project Administrator, Project Specialist, or Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate engineering teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes, including mechanical, electrical, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, ensuring full compliance throughout all phases of construction.
  • Experience working in environments involving Hazardous Production Materials (HPM), with a solid understanding of safety protocols, regulatory requirements, handling procedures, and risk mitigation best practices.
  • Strong experience managing project documentation, schedules, change orders, purchase orders, and contract compliance.
  • Experience tracking project risk, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget performance.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Working knowledge of construction safety practices and quality-control processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in multi-discipline project environments.
  • Experience supporting projects in industrial manufacturing or semiconductor facility environments, including coordination with engineering teams, quality control, and documentation requirements typical of high-tech production facilities.

  • This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
  • This position generally works Monday-Friday, additional hours as necessary

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position varies considerably depending upon qualifications (including education and applicable work experience). The base salary range for this part time position is $90,000-$135,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
