Job Description
This position will be contracted through Bosch’s external vendor under a one-year agreement.
Bosch Car Multimedia team is looking for full-time HMI Engineers working at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The CM team develops high-quality, state-of-the-art Automotive Head Unit and Home Appliance Linux/Android-based systems.
Together with other Bosch locations worldwide, we provide software solutions for navigation, vehicle functions, autonomous driving, camera, and IoT features to the car marker.
Our team also contributes to Bosch smart home & IoT solutions through SW delivery to Home Appliance products.
The software engineer is responsible for developing and validating HMI - Human Machine Interface (GUI) software, both for development & testing.
As a HMI Software Engineer, your typical work activities include:
- Participate in requirement analysis and software design.
- Develop HMI software using C++/Qt in Linux system for Car Multimedia or Home appliance system.
- Testing, debugging, maintenance and problem solving.
Qualifications
The job might be fit for you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic, Information Technology, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with OOP design, UI/UX, C++ / Qt/QML / Python programming.
- Experience in Embedded Linux DBUS (e.g. systemd, journald)
- Experience in GTest and GMock
- Knowledge in Linux based system, Multithread programming
- Familiar with one of the engineering processes (Waterfall, Agile).
- Passion for software engineering in the automotive / IoT industry.
- Different levels of experiences are welcomed (Exp. to Senior).
- Good English communication skills, be able to interact fluently with worldwide stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Backend/Home Connect/EC-services
- Experience with developing HMI and GUI/Graphics framework (CGI, Qt).
- Experience using graphics API like OpenGL.
- Experience using Squish testing with Python.
- Database development / SQLite3
- Conan, Docker, D-Bus2
- Debug knowledge
- Handling with external dependencies: UI framework, Content Distributor, ELP, Arc19
- Server/client, Web-Socket knowledge
- Tools: Qt Creator / VS Code / Jenkins / Artifactory / Jira
