Job Description

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping efficient, robust, and future-ready manufacturing processes. Working in a multidisciplinary and international environment, you will contribute directly to the industrialization of innovative products while driving continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and lean production concepts within Bosch.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and product industrialization concepts
  • Defining assembly concepts, process flows, line layouts, and ensuring optimal floor space usage
  • Supporting the build-up and ramp-up of new production lines within cross-functional teams
  • Specifying assembly equipment and engineering requirements (MAE/EWAK) and coordinating suppliers
  • Planning, analyzing, and tracking industrialization project timelines and milestones
  • Performing equipment and process pre-acceptance according to Bosch standards and automotive industry requirements
  • Contributing to industrialization documentation such as Control Plans, FMEA, and process guidelines
  • Planning and implementing Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), including new methods, equipment, and documentation
  • Driving measures to improve production costs, quality, and process performance
  • Monitoring and improving key performance indicators (e.g. OEE, FPY, FOR, IDC)
  • Supporting problem-solving activities in multidisciplinary teams
  • Contributing to robust product and process concepts aligned with lean manufacturing principles

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field

Experience

  • Experience in process engineering, industrialization, or manufacturing within an industrial or automotive environment
  • Exposure to new production line setup, equipment specification, or process optimization is an advantage

Know-how

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly concepts
  • Experience with 2D and 3D design tools (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and quality methods
  • Interest or basic knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and digital manufacturing tools

Languages

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written

  • Ability to manage multiple topics and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Openness to international and intercultural collaboration
