Job Description
- Acts as the Controlling Business Partner for MA Division in ASEAN region, located in Vietnam
- In charge of monthly business reporting and regular forecasting for the entities in charge, conduct monthly KPI review with key stakeholders
- Monitor risks and opportunities against performance target. Analyzes, interprets and summarizes cross-functional information. Develop proactively countermeasures to be back on track
- Provide decision relevant information/recommendation to management including evaluation of scenarios
- Assess new business models
- Drive continuous improvement in processes through automation and standardization
- Utilize digital skills to provide in-depth analysis and business insight
Specific Tasks:
- Planning of Steering P&L and relevant KPI’s
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Evaluation of deviations vs. target
- Initiate measures to close potential gaps
- Evaluate effectiveness of measures (incl. tracking)
- Evaluation of business cases (e.g. investment calculations, customer project proposal, scenarios)
- Offer financial advice to management and other stakeholders in commercial context
- Support development of new business models (e.g. digital services)
- Initiation and result interpretation of benchmarking activities
- Work with other supporting functions in / out of MA (CPE, GS, RO etc.) to address financial topics
Qualifications
- Education Qualifications & Accreditations: Degree in business administration or finance/ controlling, 2-5 years of work experience
- Computer/ Systems Proficiency: MS Office, Excel Advanced; Basic programming knowledge preferred (e.g. Python, SQL); Dashboard building (e.g. Power BI); Systems (Hyperion, SAP, data warehouse)
- Experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting and Tax
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Competencies: Analytical, data driven, logical, ability to deal with ambiguity, perseverance and openness
- Able to communicate and collaborate across all levels and navigate thru different functions and cultures
- Apply industry understanding into analysis to support business development
