You will be joining our rapidly growing Data & AI Strategy team within Capgemini Invent, where we are at the forefront of designing and building winning strategies to transform the way in which organisations across all industries and sectors leverage data. Why this role?

As a Data Strategy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding organisations through the complexities of leveraging data & AI effectively to drive strategic business outcomes. Drawing from your expertise in Data management, strategy formulation, and analytics, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering transformation initiatives that enable our client to harness the power and value of their data assets. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to navigate the intricacies of modern data landscapes. Specifically:

  • You will develop dynamic and innovative data & AI strategies for our clients, driving the adoption of AI and data management best practices and creating a data-driven organisation to drive value creation for our clients.
  • You will explore and evaluate emerging trends, experiment with new data & AI concepts, and champion innovative solutions and industry best practice.
  • You will develop trusted client relationships, partnering to solve key challenges in data, analytics and AI delivery.
  • You will support the shaping and delivery of projects and facilitate engaging and dynamic workshops in Data Strategy, Data Management and Operating Models.
  • You will evaluate the maturity of clients’ data & AI capabilities against industry-leading practices through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • You will provide strategic guidance on leveraging data-driven insights to inform business decision-making. This includes advising clients on information management practices, advanced analytics techniques, and emerging trends in data strategy.
  • You will support large scale data transformations ranging from the business case and strategy assessment to the implementation of data solutions.
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders and facilitate innovation initiatives aimed at experimenting with new data and AI concepts.
  • You will contribute to the establishment of robust data capabilities within client organisations, encompassing organisational design, process optimisation, skills development, and role definition.
  • You will contribute to the development of our practice by working with others in identifying new market opportunities, creating innovative offerings, and creating thought leadership content.

We’d love to meet someone with:

  • Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in data strategy, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to develop customer-centric strategies and drive value creation for clients.
  • Value-Creation: A track record of creating tangible value for organisations, including optimising processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving growth.
  • Leadership: Evidence of your potential as a leader in data strategy, through both your drive and ambition as well as relevant experience and success in industry or professional services.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data strategy, data management, or AI/machine learning methodologies. Deep understanding of data throughout it’s lifecycle. Combined with Architectural / feature knowledge of one or more data and AI platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform; Amazon Web Services; Microsoft Azure)
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to provide strategic direction on data strategy, guiding senior leaders in aligning data initiatives with organisational objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, cultivated through collaborations with diverse stakeholders including industry partners, and internal capability teams. Ability to navigate complex relationships to drive consensus and achieve strategic goals.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to represent the company in discussions on data strategy. Proficiency in supporting upskilling initiatives to enhance both internal staff and client understanding of data concepts.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest advancements in data strategy, data management and operating models. Actively contribute to fostering a culture of ongoing education and innovation within the organisation.
  • Delivery: A track record of delivering within agile working environments, including planning, and implementing solutions with data, analytics or AI at the core

Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Glasgow as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
