We are seeking a Hil Test Engineer to join our Automotive team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for adapting test specifications from previous model year projects, writing new test specifications, and test scripts for the system requirements.
  • Perform verification and validation testing on Labcar and Vehicle, including test design, analysis, reporting and issue management.
  • Develop test methodology against system requirements, test automation, execution, and reporting.
  • Setup test environment, Labcar and HIL rigs
  • Development of automated test cases, including the capability of fault insertion and diagnostic in support of system integration and verification
  • Monitoring and reviewing test and validation timing
  • Problem investigation and resolution

Qualifications Experience and Skills

  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with/or at least 5+ years of automotive industry experience.
  • Experience in Body, Chassis, Thermal, Power train, ADAS and Infotainment system
  • Strong knowledge of using vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition, calibration, and diagnostic equipment
  • Experience in diagnostic protocols (ISO14229, J1939)
  • Hands-on experience with tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, and diagnostic tools
  • Relevant project experience, ideally in an automotive or engineering industry and in an agile project environment.
  • Experience in manual & automation testing for embedded controls products.
  • Experience working within a Product Development Process or with an OEM development process.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English
  • Ability to drive and complete tasks independently, task-oriented and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a complex and ambiguous environment.
  • Positive and passionate, good team player, proven record of leading and mentoring junior team
