Your opportunities as Cloud Data Architect at Capgemini

You are fully aware of how a (GCP) data cloud solution can be optimally used and integrated within the total application landscape of our customers. Not only to implement your data-driven strategy as an organization, but also to deploy the right IT solutions. Because of your substantive expertise, you not only know how your solution should be implemented, but you are also able to review and adjust the way in which it is implemented. As a Cloud Data Architect, you help our customers get started and you are responsible for providing this insight. A tough challenge for which you will, among other things, do the following:

  • You make all data processes and workflows transparent. Consider the processes and data themselves, but also applications, infrastructure, implementations, legislation & regulations and security;
  • You are able to translate a business strategy into roadmaps and/or technological solutions by drawing up an application and technology architecture;
  • You set up project portfolios and develop business cases, including guiding principles;
  • You ensure that the right discussions are held by those involved. Both in the field of business and IT;
  • You present complex matters in a simple way to facilitate decision-making.

Your home base at Capgemini

Our global Insights & Data organization embodies leadership in next-generation data solutions. In cooperation with our global ecosystem of solution partners we design, develop and implement state-of-the-art solutions to generate value in a increasingly data-driven world, thus aiding our clients to manage and explore an exponentially growing amount of data. Within Capgemini, we foster an open and supportive work environment, where colleagues will always be willing to lend a helping hand. You will work for large and complex, often international organizations, on a large variety of projects. Next to challenging work you will be offered highly informative knowledge sessions, full support in your professional and personal development and lots of events, both professional and fun.

Benefits

  • All-you-can-train without obligations from your side;
  • A big basket of secondary benefits and flexible choices and 26 holidays;
  • Capgemini contributes to your pension. Additionally, you also have the flexibility to make additional contributions yourself;
  • Work from where you want on a device of your own choice, with connectivity costs remuneration;
  • A modern laptop and a simcard, also for personal use;
  • Travel as you want with a lease car or public transport business card, and/or payout of your generous monthly travel remuneration budget;
  • And of course, a competitive salary. We will gladly discuss specifics with you.

Why is this job vacancy a good fit for you?

You have already gained quite a bit of experience and enjoy a challenge. You convert complex information into understandable material, you have strong communication skills and you easily transfer your knowledge to others. You quickly see and make connections and, as a trusted advisor, you like to add real value to an organization. What else do you bring?

  • A Bachelor or Master level degree in a technical field;
  • Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Cloud Architect, supplemented with Professional Data Engineer;
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Extensive experience with relevant programming languages and tooling such as: Golang, Python, Java, Spark/Hadoop (Dataproc) , Graph, Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, Terraform, Kafka or similar;
