Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice, we intend to recruit a BI Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. Roles and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for Azure platform deployments.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps, YAML, Bicep, ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, and CLI scripting for platform deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and automate Azure services, including networking, vNet isolation and security, Private Endpoints, DNS, App registrations, and Entra administration.
  • Develop software solutions using Azure Functions, Web Applications, and front-end frameworks.
  • Configure and deploy Power BI integrations and gateways.
  • Implement DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, environment automation, release automation, virtualization, and infrastructure as code.
  • Manage infrastructure and configuration as code using SCM and GitHub.
  • Work effectively in Scrum projects and participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • Use Jira for daily task tracking and Confluence for documentation and knowledge management.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of advanced experience with Azure platforms, including networking, security, and automation.
  • Strong programming background with experience in Azure Functions, Web Applications, and front-end frameworks.
  • Proficient in PowerShell and CLI scripting.
  • Familiarity with Power BI integration and gateway configuration.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • In-depth knowledge of DevOps architecture related to CI/CD solutions and platform automation.
  • Experience with continuous integration, environment automation, release automation, virtualization, infrastructure as code, and metrics tracking.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and the software release process.
  • Proficiency in using SCM and GitHub for managing infrastructure and configuration as code.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote working environment.
  • Comfortable with Agile ceremonies and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Azure certification and Australian Citizenship is required.
