​​​​​​​The Mission

As a Solution Architect @ Capgemini you will have a unique opportunity to help our customers design and implement the best technology solutions. Our assignments cover various sectors like telecom, retail, finance, utilities, industries, media, and public. The assignments will be on-site in the Stockholm region and you will cooperate closely with your expert colleagues in Stockholm as well as within some of the Capgemini companies globally, including State Of the Art solutions, education, and support from our partners


The Role

You will be expected to shape and translate Business and IT strategy and needs into realizable, sustainable technology solutions. You will provide insight, thought leadership, and innovation to ensure that the solution meets the client’s business goals. You will ensure that the solution is designed for production and can be delivered efficiently while making sure that the solution has integrity (is safe, secure, and compliant). You will be responsible for creating technical solution descriptions (High-Level Design and Detailed Design documentation) through collaboration with the customer team and colleagues.


Your profile

As a Solution Architect, we expect you to have a broad technical understanding, developer background, and strong communication skills with the ability to guide and advise our clients. You have an agile mindset; are quick to adapt to challenges and learn from new experiences.


Skills required:

  • You have experience working as Architect, including being responsible for
    Solution Architecture Document (SAD) or similar

  • Previous design development experience using technologies such as .Net, C#, Web API or Java, J2EE

  • Experience in defining Integration Roadmaps & Architecture and/or working with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS or GCP, etc.)

  • Knowledge of different industry best practices in API, integration & Microservices

  • Familiar with agile ways of working and DevOps

  • You have a higher diploma (e.g. Bachelor or Masters degree) or equel

  • You are fluent in both Swedish and English


To stand out, you also have previous experience:

  • From the consulting industry
  • Experience in Mulesoft, OpenShift, Kafka, DelBoomi, or similar solution platforms
  • Certified in architecture; generic (such as TOGAF) and/or platforms (such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Mulesoft, OpenShift)

  • Experience as an Architect in some of our customer's industries
