YOUR PROJECT

This is your opportunity to become a member of a well established Team of System Engineers, part of Capgemini Cloud and Infrastructure Services. A mixture of talented and experienced engineers providing project and operational support across a variety of technologies for a client from financial market.

YOUR TASKS

• Deployment and configuration of databases:
  sizing, installation, configuration, administration, Backup/Recovery and Capacity planning.
• Performance troubleshooting: analysis of AWR reports and other native performance troubleshooting tools, giving advice to developers on performance tuning
• DB migration: export/import of data between different environments, onprem and cloud
• Development of CI/CD pipelines for DB deployments and update: infrastructure deployment and patching with IaC pipelines, code deployment with application pipelines

Nice to have:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and migrations from onprem to OCI
• Experience with Terraform and Gitlab CI/CD
• Linux system administrator

YOUR PROFILE

• Advanced experience with Oracle Database Administration (as application DBA up to PDBADMIN level only) with knowledge of PL/SQL
• Technical stream leader – managing a small team 2-3 people: technical strategy and goal setting in the area of responsibility, task assignment and prioritization, execution control and reporting to management
• Some experience with Postgres
• Experience with AWS RDS (preferable Oracle)
• Strong client-facing communicator
