YOUR ROLE

This position requires fulfilling a combination of data processing and software engineering tasks. The team is engaged in a variety of tasks to fulfill its mission of providing world-class private and public cloud environments which requires orchestration of a large number of department resources and customer organizations. Improving the success of the APS-PaaS team requires improving process efficiency through comprehensive feedback measurements which result in both tactical and strategic changes for the department. This work enables business success within the company’s network of data center facilities.

• Lead the APS-PaaS team in the design and implementation of automated metrics generation environment capable of producing consumable content ranging from near-real-time dashboards to trending-over-time reports. The automation environment is envisioned to be a combination of a proprietary collection of applications, Jira, Smartsheet (being deprecated), Remedy and Excel. Easily accessible and understandable products such as status dashboards, data integrations, workflows, delivery metrics, customer satisfaction reporting and efficacy reports for both near-real-time and trending-over-time intervals are the end goal.
• Experience in establishing and operating automated report dissemination and notification systems
• Assist the APS-PaaS team in the collection, processing and distribution of the data, information and knowledge necessary to coordinate service deployment into the company’s private and public cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process and technology.
• Establishment of an effective feedback plan for the tools used by the team.
• Ability to visualize and automate the execution of complex business processes.
• Perform data collection, analysis, and validation.
• Respond to data inquiries from various groups within the organization, working towards a goal of providing a robust self-service reporting capability.

YOUR PROFILE

• Good conversational English skills (B2, C1, C2)
• 2-6 years of experience in IT project-based team.
• Experience working with enterprise-level projects. Cable industry experience preferred.
• Experience in application development, infrastructure definition/configuration, product ownership and data mastering tasks.
• Data processing tool experience. Example tools include: Oracle, Cognos, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Zoho, etc.
• Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager preferred
• Python and SQL experience preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Remedy, SAP ALM or Rally (or comparable) required. JQL experience is preferred.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Lucidchart and Excel.
• Attention to detail.
