The Software Product Engineering Pre-Sales Solution Architect collaborates with clients in North America and Globally to understand their needs, assess their software solution, challenge and provide strategic architectural mentorship on transformation and further evolution of their digital product and software product modernization with emerging technology stack SPE Solution Architect represents the technical ability of Capgemini Engineering to strategize and lead internal multi-functional teamwork for technology dissemination. The Pre-Sales solution architect’s priority is to work on client solutions which are a persuasive representation of Capgemini technical ability, expertise on developing products & services, with focus on value associated with software driven transformation for clients. The role involves active coordination across sales and practice teams and demands outstanding inter-personal skills, strong technical skills, knowledge in either the Insurance domain or Media and Entertainment domain in product engineering.

Job Location: East Coast

Key Responsibilities:

· We discover innovative client solutions through consultative selling approach and collaborate with our clients to assess their immediate, short term and long-term requirements to meet their business goals.

· We build solution proposals, are accountable for multi-functional internal reviews and present the technical proposal to prospective customer.

· We engage with the global engagement and delivery teams to ensure accurate resourcing and hand-off to the post-sale team to deliver the solution to the customers.

· Collaborate with our clients to assess their immediate, short term and long-term requirements to meet their business goals and product roadmaps.

· Discover innovative client solutions through consultative selling approach and enable new customer opportunities

· Develop and promote proactive solution led, value propositions for our clients, by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

· Showcase deep understanding of end customer’s objectives, business goals and requirements to better align our software product engineering and transformation capabilities to provide tangible business value.

· Mentor global architects/delivery teams on solution architect’s best practices

· Travel up to 30%.

Required Skills

· 8+years of experience in software engineering, with client facing experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or presales engineering role.

· Knowledge of distributed computing and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.) to build large scale solutions with the latest generation of technologies

· Experience with solution selling and quantification of business value to customers.

· Design, develop and deliver industry and customer value propositions as it relates to software transformation in Insurance or Media Entertainment Industry.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $121,500.00 - $230,000.00. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
