B2B Senior Salesforce Front-end Developer - Lisbon

Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a B2B/Wholesale Senior Salesforce Front Developer to join one of the world’s most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.

To leverage Lisbon’s tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. Responsibilities

Leads the implementation and integration of the technical architecture in a product area based on business strategy, business skills, business requirements and along the defined EA guardrails.

Ensures that architecture principles, best practices and architecture guidelines in the developed Product/Solution are adhered.

Supports during solution definition, provides guidance on architectural designs and strategies to improve Product/Solution performance and scalability.

Work with Product’s technical leads to manage & develop the architecture for the Products and deliver the architectural design, translating business needs into a solution blueprint representing the end-to-end technical solution.

Recommend and provide target architecture, architectural strategy as well as vision and processes, within the guidelines specified by the Enterprise Architect.

Develops integration processes and interface requirements.

Recommends and provides target architecture, architectural strategy as well as vision and processes, within the guidelines specified by the EA, the team has decision making authority at the product level.

Selects the technology stack based on the given requirements and constraints, in close collaboration with the Technical Team Leads.

Provide technical expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies

Understand global IT strategy and business needs to define high level architectures.

Provide recommendations in the selection and use of technology, such as “build or buy”.

Analyze complex issues and propose solutions to solve them.

Ensure third-party products fit in the organization ecosystem.

Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure, maintaining a roadmap for required changes.

Align with the Senior Product Owner(s) and Product Owners to adequately prioritize technical features required for future functional features as well as current and future technical platform stability, security and compliance.

Actively contribute to the Product Design Forum and Community of Practice.

Participate to the technology stack selection based on the given requirements and limitations.

Academic Background

Bachelor or master’s in computer science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related flow.

Skills & Experience

5+ years’ proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a focus on front-end development.

Keen understanding of UX best practices for B2B and e-commerce journeys.

Strong capacity in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and to develop front-end framework.

Expertise in development of Lightning Web Components, incl. Advanced concepts such as reusability (mixins / inheritance).

Strong proficiency in Salesforce Experience Cloud, B2B Commerce Lightning / LWR is a plus.

Proficiency in React / Javascript component-oriented framework is a strong plus.

Experience with integrations using REST APIs secured by modern protocols (OAuth 2 flows) and their documentation (Swagger, OpenAPI).

Experience with Salesforce standard integration best practices (External Services, Mocks).

Demonstrated experience in web application scalability.

Salesforce technical certifications, especially Platform Developer II, are highly desirable.

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies is a plus.

Proven experience of building, automating, and deploying software to production.

Experience with authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents.

Ability to write unit and integration tests and approach to identify tests.

Experience with Confluence, Jira & Zephyr suitable.

Capacity to use emerging web technologies into live ecosystems.

Proficiency in English is mandatory, French is a plus.

Consulting experience is an asset.
