Our Client is a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.

HR Data Team is looking for an innovative business analyst to join the Human Resources Data Products team in Budapest. The team is accountable for project delivery of a strategic, multi-year initiative to transform our Data and Analytics ecosystem.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Engage with HR Analytics stakeholders to understand challenges, rapidly mock-up datasets for self-service consumption via BI (Business Intelligence) tools such as Tableau, Power BI in an Agile fashion
  • Work with HR stakeholders in capturing and distilling the requirements as they relate to both the user vision specific to business needs and technical implementation requirements.
  • Work with Data engineering team to model secure, persona-based datasets
  • Clearly communicate design and development strategies to all stakeholders
  • Manage user testing including the production and execution of test plans and scripts, defect logging and resolution management.
  • Identify key risks, troubleshoot issues, bring them to a resolution and make necessary improvements
  • Identify and recommend appropriate end to end strategic solutions ensuring development is within scope and addresses the business needs

YOUR PROFILE:

  • At least BSc degree
  • Experience in the data domain (Tableau or BI equivalent PowerBI, Qlik etc.) and understanding of SQL databases and ETL technologies
  • Experience with Jira
  • Strong experience with MS Excel (data comparison, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) - proficient in the use of functions, pivot tables and PowerPoint
  • A confident communicator (strong written and verbal English) and critical thinking mindset also a self-starter
