Our Intelligent Industry team in Switzerland is looking for a (Senior) Manager for our practice "Digital Engineering" to join one of our offices (Zurich, Lausanne, Geneve, Basel).

Today's market present significant challenges for the engineering of the future. The development of complex products needs to become more efficient and at the same time more agile. Teams in product innovation must collaborate in a decentralized manner in order to accelerate the introduction of new business models. We advise our clients to achieve their engineering goals with innovative methods and technologies on projects like:

  • IT/Business Strategy for Engineering
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Business Transformation
  • Agilization of product development processes
  • Definition of Engineering Operating Models

Your qualifications

  • Academic excellence: Master’s degree in engineering, Science, Technology, or related fields with outstanding academic records
  • Industry knowledge: Project management experience in complex transformation projects for product development Proficiency in process design, optimization and implementation for product creation. Ideally knowledge of one or more Product Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Arena/Windchill, Dassault Systèmes)
  • Consulting experience: 6+ years of management consulting or engineering operations in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, watchmaking or life science sectors industry. Experience in management consulting is highly recommended
  • Conceptual talent: Lateral thinking and ability to bridge technology, strategic evaluation, and practical implementation. Structured work style to solve complex problems with a positive mindset and enthusiasm
  • Communication and presentation skills: fluent in English (written and spoken). Additionally, either German (Zurich, Basel) or French skills (Lausanne/Geneva) are highly recommended (C1 level). Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills are mandatory
  • Digital affinity: very good MS Office skills, familiar with enterprise software (e.g. PLM, SAP...)
  • Cultural fit: you will be working at customer sites, from the Capgemini Invent offices (Geneva, Lausanne, Basel or Zurich), and from home.
