Job Description
Title: Senior AWS Cloud Architect - To Architect and build AWS Services, Networking and AWS Landing Zone
We are seeking an AWS Senior Cloud Architect with specialized expertise in AWS Landing Zone, AWS Control Tower, and advanced cloud security principles to architect, build and support cloud environment from scratch. This role demands designing and implementing a secure, scalable, and efficiently managed AWS cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Cloud Planning and Governance, AWS Landing Zone Implementation, AWS Control Tower, Cloud Security Frameworks, Solution Implementation and Optimization, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Cloud architecture: Extensive experience with AWS Landing Zone, AWS Control Tower, and implementing cloud security measures.
- Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of AWS core services, infrastructure as code (IaC), and experience designing multi-account AWS environments with a focus on security and governance.
- Security and Compliance: Expert understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, network security, and compliance standards applicable to the industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of leading cloud transformation projects and driving the adoption of cloud best practices.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex situations, design solutions that address business challenges, and effectively resolve technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical teams, stakeholders, and senior management to advocate for cloud best practices and innovations.
- Team player and collaborator: The candidate must possess excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all project members to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, with additional certifications in Security Specialty being highly desirable.
- Must have implemented AWS LandingZone, Advanced Networking, AWS Control Tower, Cloud Security Frameworks.
Locations: Jersey City, NJ / Chicago, IL / Atlanta GA
