YOUR PROJECT

Project aims at integrating and harmonize data from strategic platforms into our global data platform. We look for a DevOps engineer to create, maintain and improve pipelines from source to harmonized layer and from harmonized layer to consumption layer for Power BI reporting. Business domains covered are around Commercial insurance pricing & underwriting.

YOUR TASKS

• Maintenance and optimization of the existing pipelines
• Plan capacity and sizing of the service components, proactive cloud component management
• Initiating planning and set up of new service components
• Coordinate the operations and maintenance of related software, complex server infrastructure and databases (Synapse, PowerBI, Local development)
• Maintain service related documentation according with out client Technology standards
• Monitoring and SLA Management
• Document, maintain and optimize processes and configurations related to the environments

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps engineer
• Deep understanding of DevOps philosophy/practices
• Experience with Azure Architecture, Azure Services
• Good knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Commercial experience with Kubernetes
• Experience of using Python for scripting
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions (Workflows)
• Knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL
• Hands-on experience in working with production environments with zero tolerance for any errors
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Sufficient English level for communication with the client (verbal & written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure Synapse
• Basic understanding of AWS and application containerization
• Experience with building complex SQL queries and creating ETL loads
• Basic understanding of Kafka and data streaming
