YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a skilled Workplace Engineer to join our IT team. The Workplace Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-user computing environments, including desktop and mobile devices, collaboration tools, and software deployment. You will ensure that employees have access to the right tools and technologies to optimize productivity and work efficiency, both in-office and remotely.
YOUR TASKS
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise workplace solutions, including desktop/laptop configurations, mobile devices, and collaboration tools. Installation, configuration and evolution of SCCM.
- Manage and support and troubleshooting.
- Automate tasks related to user provisioning, software installation, and updates using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Installation, configuration and evolution of MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions. Securing smartphones according to PSSI rules. Deployment of applications on smartphones via MAM (Mobile Application Management) solution.
- Monitor and maintain security policies and access controls on end-user devices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Document processes and maintain up-to-date configurations, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
- support the deployment of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and applications using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or JAMF.
- Managing mass renewals of workstations as well as technological strategy and choice of equipment range.
- Implement and manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Remote Desktop).
- Ensure seamless integration of collaboration tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, and Zoom, including ongoing
YOUR PROFILE
Education & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, managing workplace technology and end-user environments.
Skills:
- Strong experience with end-user device management tools such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with desktop and mobile operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Hands-on experience with collaboration platforms like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
- Knowledge of virtual desktop solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, or similar).
- Strong understanding of IT security best practices for managing user devices, data encryption, and access controls.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing large-scale desktop and device deployments in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) programs.
