Let’s talk about the roles and responsibilities:
Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Network Testing Engineer (Fixed Wireless) to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute system test plans for SD-WAN / Fixed Wireless solutions, ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance. You will also conduct network deployment planning and fixed wireless network testing, all while collaborating with key technology partners and delivering top-notch service verification.
- Develop detailed network designs and architecture and ensure scalability and reliability in every solution.
- Utilize network design tools and software to create comprehensive network diagrams and documentation.
- System Testing: Design, develop, and conduct comprehensive system tests for SD-WAN solutions, including verification, regression, stability, and performance tests.
- Test Planning and Execution: Create test plans for new features and conduct regression testing to maintain product quality.
- Test Network Management: Configure and manage test networks that mirror real-world scenarios and document all procedures and outcomes.
- Fixed Wireless Network Testing: Develop and execute test plans for fixed wireless networks, working with network elements like Cisco, Palo-Alto, Juniper, Nokia and Ericsson.
- Network Deployment Planning: Create strategic plans for network infrastructure with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- MoP Preparation: Develop detailed deployment plans, specifying router, switch, security appliance, and network element configurations.
- Hardware Installation and Verification: Oversee hardware installations, conduct tests for new components, and perform loopback tests.
- Service Verification: Ensure services are online after network migration and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates throughout the project.
- Cross-Functional Training: Deliver training on fixed wireless network components to various teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions, especially Versa.
- Familiarity with network elements such as Cisco, Juniper, and Ericsson.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and infrastructure.
- Proven track record in test planning and execution for networking solutions.
- Bachelor's degree with networking certifications such as CCNP(Must), CCIE(Desirable) or similar.
- Experience in deploying and managing fixed wireless networks.
