- A Senior Cloud Architect is a highly skilled technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architectural patterns, and security best practices.
- Japanese native level communication – Preferred native Japanese
- Bachelor’s degree with min. 7 years of related industry experience working with enterprise clients, including min.
- Experience in managing multi-year on-premises platform and cloud migration programs for large scale organizations (IaaS, PaaS, Big Data)
- Expert-level experience in architecting and delivering enterprise Azure cloud solutions at scale and within the constraints of policies and/or compliance regulations
- Experience in working with large data sets
- Expert-level knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing
- Should have good working Knowledge of key mission‐critical infrastructure such as Active Directory, VMWare, Window Server, Linux, Storage (NAS, SAN), Nutanix, Relational Databases, VCS, Networking (Routing, Firewall, Load balancers), Web services (Apache, Tomcat, IIS), File transferring (SFTP, FTP)
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
- Good understanding of API management solutions, microservices and system integration
- Experience building cloud native applications
- Strong interpersonal skill to facilitate working and problem-solving with others as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident public speaking/presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional certification is desirable
- Experience with provisioning tools (Azure Resource Manager, Terraform) is desirable
- Define and design cloud platform infrastructure architecture design and migration approach while developing and maintaining relationships with key technical client stakeholders
- Managing Cloud Platform Services including software deployment and upgrade, system setup, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, service desk, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine update of services
- Create and maintain templates and standards for Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Services (Azure as primary) and on-prime Platform throughout the enterprise ensuring all performance and cost curves are closely managed
- Drive the adoption and articulate the risks/opportunities from leveraging Cloud Infrastructure
- Present findings and technical information in a concise and compelling manner that can be understood by non-technical audiences and provides decision-makers with the context and key points
- Provide technical services to support the preparation of business cases, analysis of alternatives, level of effort estimates, cost analysis requirements documentation
- Review, draft and update the technical documents with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies on a regular basis to maintain technical excellence and development efficiencies both for internal use and to better service enterprise clients
