• Development, support, and enhancement of serialization techniques to allow efficient use of DIVA analytics libraries;
• Development, support, and enhancement of DIVA interfaces in C++, Java, C# and .NET, Python;
• Enhancement of the DIVA code base to remove vulnerabilities as well as external dependencies, in C++, but also in Java, C# and .NET / Python;
• Enhancement of interfaces to our cloud compute grid;
• Maintenance and enhancement of deployment scripts used to produce versions of DIVA analytics in all Windows and Linux flavours supported;
• Managing on-premise upgrades where necessary, e.g. migration from Win2016 to Win2019 Operating System;
• Providing 2nd level support to Application Support teams.

• Professional experience in software development with C++ and Python;
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux software environments;
• Prior experience of agile workflow practices and tools, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, TeamCity, Scrum;
• Practical understanding of design patterns and best practices in software engineering;
• Understanding of Information Security / Cyber Security best practices;
• Prior experience in mitigating / eliminating technical debt;
• Fluency in English;
• University degree in IT or relevant.

The SDTP cluster is responsible for the design, delivery and operation of Commerzbank’s primary and secondary trading business in rates, credit and equity products. The team consists of 180+ people working in 4 locations in the UK and Europe. The application landscape includes ca. 80 IT systems.

DIVA is Commerzbank’s proprietary suite of risk and analytics libraries, used for valuation of non-linear investment bank products. These include credit, interest rate, FX, equity, and commodity derivatives.
