IT Business Analyst - CVS (junior/mid level)

In Commerzbank Risk Control division, we are modernizing our infrastructure and developing flexible, modern software solutions that adapt to the changing needs of our customers.
We are looking for an open-minded and proactive team player to join us as an IT Business Analyst for our Client Valuation System (CVS). The purpose of the CVS application is to produce and distribute valuation reports to our external corporate clients every day.
You will work in a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, and application support specialists who use agile methods to maintain and further develop the assigned applications.
The team working on the CVS application is based in Prague and consists of a Product Owner,
2 developers, 2 business analysts and 2 application support specialists.
The team communication language is English. Additional Czech and/or German is an advantage.
Your tasks
- Supporting business users to gather and define business requirements.
- Providing business process and system analysis.
- Analyzing data sets, identify and validate insights.
- Creating and maintaining product documentation.
- Supporting during other phases of delivery lifecycle – implementation, testing and go-live.
- Defect analysis.
Your profile
Required:
- Analytical skills.
- Technical BA skills.
- Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written).
- Knowledge of SQL (MS SQL) for the purpose of data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS-Excel.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of some of the frameworks and tools for product documentation.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of financial and derivative products (FX, IR, Credit, Commodities) is a big plus.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Experience with MS-Access.
- Some (past) programming experience.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
