Responsibilities:
Advocate local customers
Represent local demands and business strategies in global IT&D strategy as well as service design and delivery
Be accountable to ensure the local demands are understood, prioritized, made, and delivered with quality within budget and timeframe
Monitor and push for maintaining adequate local user support for global and local services
Ensure that synergies with other initiatives of the business in the countries are captured and leveraged.
Drive functional tasks of Digital Transformation / Push local digital agenda
Be part of the implementation of global Covestro Digitalization Strategy
This includes, development and implementation of a local digital transformation roadmap, and also push the digital agenda for the countries and advocate the customer voices from ASEAN region for global initiatives.
Be ambassador of agile transformation within the countries
Establish communication channel between local business and regional/global IT&D
Escalate and conduct business communication in case of service and/or security incidents
Push value added global digital platform roll out and drive the outcome together with business counter parts
Define business value added digital transformation initiatives and use cases and drive the implementation with support from global IT&D and local services
Own local application service delivery
Design, manage and control local IT application portfolio
Own (define, budget, control, etc.) local enhancement/maintenance activities
Design, implement and operate user support for all applications in scope
Select and manage local application services related outsourcing partners (includes management of quality, cost, procurement, compliance, IT/OT security, etc.)
Own local infrastructure service delivery
Design, implement and operate the local IT infrastructure – in alignment with global/regional approach and service designs
Design, implement and operate the local user support as required
Own (design, implement and maintain) local Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery in close alignment with global/regional IT&D
Own (define, budget, control, etc.) local infrastructure enhancement, upgrade and maintenance activities
Support functional tasks of IT Governance
Consult in implementation of charge-out model and IT&D cost control
Support project governance (methodology and project portfolio reporting)
Help with global/regional communication; tailor local communication
Support IT&D compliance, manage auditor relationships (internal, external), support audits (internal / external)
Manage local IT&D personnel
Recruit, develop, motivate, support and appraise local IT&D personnel in order for the team to deliver value to Covestro
What You Offer
Qualifications:
University degree in computational science or comparable certification
Several years of experience as project leader in international IT projects as well as in staff management and development
Broad-based knowledge of all facets of information systems(management, technology, operation, support, infrastructure, applications, administration)
Skills for multi project management of complex international projects
Ability to understand business needs and to interface between customer and technical disciplines
Strong customer focus coupled with an entrepreneurial attitude to deliver cost-effective and value-added services
