Introduction of Lifecycle Management
What links development, production, market, and customer functions? The Lifecycle Management (LCM) Department. We're creating ONE company flow by steering projects hand-in-hand with teams throughout the organization from the initial project idea to project realization and through to final production.
LCM is involved in the product strategy, Business Strategy, Connectivity and e-Mobility. These functions are composed of 8 departments (6 in Japan, 2 in India) with a headcount of ca. 160 people.

Job Description
Project management of Light Duty Trucks product projects at Mitsubishi Fuso. This involves:
- Lead, plan and execute LDT product project teams
- Achieve FUSO customer/quality, technical/functional, localization/commercial and timing targets for the respective projects
- Co-ordinate & collaborate with a cross-functional project team to drive the project from project kick off to start of production according to Daimler Commercial Vehicle Development Guidelines.
Main responsibilities are:
1. Vehicle planning and implementation.
- Lead project for LDT after kick off and series change projects.
- Ramp-up management and series readiness. Definition of project scope and content according to project objectives of project spec book.
- Selection and building of team. Planning of Quality Gate milestones, funding requirements, budget and capacity needs. Compilation of project documents according to project progress.
- Planning and steering according to CVDS philosophy in adaption to local needs.
- Continuous project tracking, risk management.
- Continuous creation of cost reduction ideas and ensuring implementation.
- Lead change management hands on ICM CR.
- Ensure supplier integration into Project according to project objectives.
- Monitoring of product cost and initiation of countermeasures in case of deviation.
Communication and documentation:
- Conduct contract, information and communication management.
- Preparation of Board approvals in Fuso and Daimler Truck.
- Continuous reporting according to reporting standards. Initiate project documentation
Cost reduction and series change projects:
- Lead and support TMC activities. Support TMC activities.
- Tracking and checking target vehicle cost regularly.
4. Leadership:
- Leading, guiding, motivating and developing direct reporting employees according to company values and strategy via target agreements.
- Ensure internal communication.
- Qualification of employees according to personal and project needs.
- Support target fulfillment.
- Ensure communication and fulfillment of company and compliance standards.
- Establish environment of cross-cultural interaction and support.
5. Project Team Building
- Selection and building of project team (in cooperation with line functions)
- Management of resources according to project plan
- Integration of line functions, external service providers and suppliers
